Ancient ways to learn Latin
Begin by working up from Monosticha Catonis, Disticha Catonis, Sententiae Publii Syrii, Sentences from the Vulgate, Sentences from Latin literature, Selections from Sacra Historia, and then read Vulgate, Gospels, Psalms, Proverbs.
